I bought the XJ in 2006 and has since gone about 30Tkm.
She is black with the original gold decoration. IKON shock absorbers. Progressive Wilbertsfedern forward.
Lucas steel-flex brake lines.
The tank was repainted 5 years ago (with decoration under clear coat). He has no dents.
The conversion to N was durchgefhrt with the original parts of an XJ650 and thus comes very close to the series XJ900N.
The engine has received approximately 30Tkm before a new timing chain.
before about 10Tkm I renewed the cylinder base and head gasket.
The pistons and oil control rings were just the half of the wear limit is reached. The steering head bearings I have in front of the TV last check program made new in 2011. 3 years ago I planted new Sito mufflers. A useful Krause Gepäckbrcke and 2 cases were also there. The front tire is still good, rear tires are probably the next 2000km mechanism replaced. The tires are from 2010.
End of 2011 valvesset, carburetor sync. made and all the fresh oils. Runs like a kitten.
Since I mitlerweile the third motorcycle was purchased I must separate myself from space and time constraints of the faithful XJ. |
