1955 Triton Classic Wide Line Cafe Racer. Wideline Norton Featherbed frame certified by the Norton Owners Club as 1955 origin. With 500cc Triumph engine and gearbox of similar vintage.
4 Plug Alloy Splayed Head, Twin Amal Monobloc carburettors, 5 gallon aluminum racing Manx tank, clip-ons, Alloy twin leading shoe front brake. Aluminum oil tank and mudguards, Converta plates. Twin swept back exhausts, sidestand, recent new chronometric rev counter supplied from Isle of Man
It is all original and not like many Tritons being sold today with non original parts. I have rarely used this bike during the last 18 years and it will need an MOT although the Road Tax is obviously free being a Classic. However I am sure it will fly through any MOT and it starts and runs beautifully. Unfortunaltely I am retired and no longer able to ride this trusty steed. |
