After 13 years of slumber, TÜV Nord has decided that the VT is still fit. Thus, on the re-approval inspection Fri the 20th general inspection and emissions test March 2012 passed on first try! No wonder ... at 16.1 thousand km original mileage, Wasserkhlung and Kardan, the VT technology is mature and reliable.
What must be done of course over time:
Change engine oil, brake fluid and stainless steel brake lines, new tires, new battery.
It is about the Krmmer camshafts and factory throttled to 27 hp. The maximum torque is almost like the open version!
The frame and components work still look very good. The exhaust system looks good still.
The tank is very good. The other paint is ok, has over 27 years in some small signs of wear edges.
Small flaw: the bottom right of the tank has a small nachgelötete place. Only unsightly Optical & ouml, n Technically ok.
