The potential purchase BSA B31 was purchased by me in 1999 for restoration. The motorcycle ran up to the importation into Dautschland in 1998 in India. With the restoration I started but lack of time (child) I did not get far, and therefore sell the machine.
Condition: The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The cylinder was honed and the piston rings were replaced. The rims have been replaced at the company SWC and be rebuilt. The Avon Tyres were raised again in 1999. Not good is the transmission. It can turn very muddy. An overhaul of the transmission is necessary.
I took out after 8 years of life the bike again (occurring after 3 times to kick start the engine ran clean).
I drove the car to test drive only with a red flag and it was never approved in Germany. Fri a possible test run should be brought along a sign. P> |
